Deutsche Börse has forged a partnership with Société Générale to incorporate the French bank’s stablecoins into its financial infrastructure. The collaboration will see both euro- and dollar-backed stablecoins, developed by Société Générale’s crypto division SG-FORGE, integrated into Deutsche Börse’s post-trade operations, including settlement and custody services.

The initial phase will focus on testing the euro-pegged CoinVertible token for securities settlement and collateral workflows. This MOVE aims to assess the stablecoin’s efficacy in streamlining post-trade processes. Société Générale’s stablecoins will also be listed on Deutsche Börse’s digital trading platforms to bolster liquidity.

The integration marks another step toward institutional adoption of digital assets, as traditional financial players explore blockchain-based solutions for efficiency gains. Deutsche Börse’s embrace of stablecoins underscores the growing convergence between legacy finance and crypto innovation.
